Union Grove Logistics Center is a 98-acre master-planned park at I-75 and Union Grove Road. About 500,000 sq ft of new warehousing has also been planned off the South Calhoun Bypass and Belwood Road.

New buildings let you start with a clean grid. We use that to set long, straight rows, wide cross aisles at the docks, and beam levels sized for dense LVP pallets.

Flooring orders often mix carpet cuts with boxed LVP. A good layout puts the cut area beside roll storage and keeps boxed flooring close to the shipping doors.

Lower beam levels can hold pick pallets while upper levels store reserve. That keeps pickers on the floor and lift trucks in the reserve aisles.

We mark pick and reserve zones right on the CAD drawing so supervisors can plan labor before the rack is up.

Luxury vinyl and tile load a pallet heavily for its size. We size beams to the heaviest one and post the rated capacity on every bay.

Carpet rolls go on cantilever arms or roll racking spaced to the roll length. Handling attachments such as carpet poles change aisle width, so we confirm the truck first.

Some US-41 corridor space was built in 2013 with 27 ft clear. That fits four or five pallet levels, depending on load height.

These buildings often hold overflow for a nearby plant. A mix of selective rack and pushback rack handles multiple pallets per SKU without giving up too many aisles.

The newer Gordon County Industrial Park was developed to anchor flooring manufacturing. CSX rail-served industrial sites near the Northwest Georgia inland port add another way to move freight.

Rail doors want open floor in front. We keep rack back from them so car unloading never fights storage.
